Tasuki is the average comedy releif on this series. He adds a lot to the story and the series DEFINATLY would not be the same without this wonderful character. He first joined a group of bandits when he was fifteen, often favored by the leader at the time. When he first joined, poor Tasuki has a ruff time with Kouji beating the daylights out of him. That soon changes.
When we first meet our loveable bandit, he goes by the name of Genroh (phantism wolf) and kidnaps Miaka to challenge Eiken, some slab who thought could take over with Tasuki himself should be incharge. As you notice, Kouji and Tasuki (Genroh) are best buds, go figure. Tasuki finally joins Miaka after bluffing about Tasuki being dead.
All together though, this brawling, drinking, and cussing bandit is more than one can think. Even though he seems like your average hard ass, he has a very soft spot, and has loyalty beyong beleif.
