Essay one - Kiono
Well in the series there is clear evidence that this is more than a friendship, and even a brotherly hint in it. In the beggining Kira was just there to hlep awaken Alexial, and proof he had strong feelings for her. As time went on, he grew to love the earth and Setsuna. Willing to kill for him and protect him, he pretty much averted his passion from Alexial to the re-incarnate of her. In return, Sestuna has feelings for Kira, but at the moment he seems to love his little sister more. I personally think this is a dellusion of himself when their parents split, and his emotions went rather off track. Missing his sister as they were seperated at a young age, he pretty much mistaked family love with passion. Otherwise, the rest of his love and devotion comes to the spirit/lucifer incarnate, who has returned the love- even if he denies it. And thats why ladies and gentlemen- why they belong.
